I am a sound engineer and writer of music. I often work for a large international news broadcaster so I’m interested in news and politics and I sometimes have the opportunity to travel to wherever in the world things are most interesting.
I also sometimes work for a theatre company called Stan’s Cafe doing various artistic type things.
I live in South London, in the UK.
The picture at the top of this blog is from a book that I loved when I was a child, This is London by Miroslav Sasek. The other ones I had were This is Munich and This is Venice. They were great books, combining travel writing, geography and a good dose of social anthropology. When I read them now, with my own children, they become history books as well. According to the Sasek site these books are now being reissued by some Italian publishers called Rizzoli. You can buy them from The Bookseller Crow on the hill, who imports them from America.
Hi,
I am trying to build a wii application standalone and am having trouble getting the accelerometer data from wii. You have done it in your KS-3ii, which I must admit I couldn’t get working myself (my fault I think), and I was wondering if there was any advice you could give me on creating a wiimote app in max as a standalone? Are there certain things I need to put in the Folders/files section?
Thanks for your time,
Nick
