I just wanted to make a short reply to your report of the fatal bus accident. I am also extremely concerned about the lack of reporting of these types of accidents. I live 100 yards from this accident and was wanting to know more details about what happenned. The local press also did not seem to report the accident. Why are we not provided with important news like this? Thank you for your blog, at least I know more about this terrible event. I also agree that the busses are dangerous.

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.

I love discovering new blogs through comments left.

I agree with your opinion about dangerous bus drivers. I take the bus from King’s Cross to London Bridge every other day and I’ve witnessed alot of close calls. The streets are often too narrow for the size of those buses and with so many people coming and going the risk of an accident happening is high. I’ve heard conversations on buses twice now where people were talking about how easy it is to become a bus driver. It could well be a case of fast recruitment for a dwindling work force over proper safety and training.

Go safely on your travels around the city.
