This is exactly what I want my iPod to do. Get the latest news from the BBC, say, and download it so that I can listen to it on the train. I wonder if the BBC is supporting this yet?

Funnily enough I just read about this in a comment on Stuart Hughes’ blog.
It’s not news, but it’s a move in the right direction.
Oh Lordy. The dream has become a nightmare. Of course the BBC only makes its content available in a form which can’t be copied because of the copyright clearance issues. So the only things that can be podcast are, effectively, talk radio. Help, get me out of here.
